AC TUNE-UPS & PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE

A maintenance visit for the equipment you actually use.

Choose cooling maintenance, furnace maintenance or heat pump care based on your equipment and service history. Tell us about weak airflow, unusual cycling or drainage concerns so they can be discussed during the visit. We confirm what is included and explain any repairs that cost extra.

Common reasons to get in touch

  • Your AC or furnace is due for routine service.
  • You have moved in and do not know the system’s maintenance history.
  • You want a seasonal check without joining a membership.
  • You want both cooling and heating care discussed for the same home.

What to expect

  1. Choose AC maintenance, heating maintenance or a visit covering both.
  2. Confirm the equipment count, included work and price before the visit.
  3. Get the findings explained; approve any additional repairs separately.

Questions about ac & furnace maintenance

Is regular maintenance free?

A standalone maintenance visit is paid service. Davidson’s paid membership includes two seasonal visits per covered system each year, with monthly or prepaid payment options. CenterPoint’s no-cost AC tune-up is a separate program with its own eligibility requirements.

Can I book furnace maintenance without an AC tune-up?

Yes. Tell us you want heating maintenance and which type of system you have. We’ll confirm the visit details and price.

Do I need a membership?

No. One-time paid service is available. A paid membership is optional and provides two seasonal visits per covered system each year.

Does maintenance include repairs or refrigerant?

Repairs, replacement parts and refrigerant are quoted separately unless specifically included in your agreed service. You approve additional work before it is performed.

When should I schedule maintenance?

ENERGY STAR recommends annual preseason checks: cooling in spring and heating in fall. If service is overdue, ask about the next available visit rather than waiting another season. Follow your equipment’s maintenance instructions.

What is the free heating check with CenterPoint service?

Davidson includes a complimentary heating inspection/heat check with its eligible CenterPoint AC tune-up visits. This is a Davidson offer, not a CenterPoint furnace-maintenance benefit. Repairs and parts are separate.
