A no-cost AC tune-up. A complimentary Davidson heat check.

Qualifying homeowners can receive a no-cost AC tune-up through CenterPoint Energy’s ComfortCheck program, performed by Davidson. We also include a complimentary heating inspection/heat check with the visit.

The heating check is a Davidson offer, separate from the utility program. Repairs, parts and refrigerant are extra and require approval. No paid membership required.

Add availability notes or equipment details

No cost for eligible homeowners. Includes a complimentary Davidson heating inspection/heat check; repairs, parts and refrigerant are separate. This request is not program approval or a confirmed appointment. No paid membership required.

Which maintenance is free?

The qualifying ComfortCheck AC tune-up is provided at no cost to the homeowner. Davidson’s added heating inspection/heat check is also complimentary with that visit. It is our offer, not a CenterPoint furnace-maintenance benefit.

Additional repairs, replacement parts and refrigerant are separate. We explain any recommended work and its price before you decide. No paid maintenance membership is required.

Does my home qualify?

ComfortCheck serves qualifying homes in CenterPoint Energy’s Houston electric service territory. Your location, equipment and previous program service matter. Contact Davidson so we can review the applicable requirements; an address in the Houston area alone does not establish eligibility.

See CenterPoint’s current program information. Program acceptance and contractor assignment are confirmed separately from this inquiry.

What happens after I request a tune-up?

  1. Share your contact details, service address and system count.
  2. We review the program requirements and any registration steps with you.
  3. Once the required approval or dispatch is in place, we confirm an available appointment.

Davidson is an independent participating contractor. TRC is the program contact listed in the ComfortCheck information; you are contacting Davidson through this website.

Need service outside the program?

One-time paid AC and furnace maintenance is available without program eligibility. For two seasonal visits, see our separate paid Davidson maintenance membership. If the system has stopped cooling, request AC repair rather than waiting for a program tune-up.

A FEW HELPFUL ANSWERS

Questions before you call.

Does requesting a tune-up complete registration?

Requesting a tune-up starts a Davidson inquiry, not official utility registration. Program eligibility, acceptance, and an appointment each need separate confirmation.

Are Davidson membership and CenterPoint the same offer?

No. Davidson’s paid membership and one-time maintenance are separate from CenterPoint. This form does not enroll you in a membership.

What if I’m not sure which utility serves my home?

You can still contact Davidson. A team member can review the service address and discuss the applicable program questions.

Can I request urgent help online?

For an urgent HVAC problem, call Davidson. An online request does not confirm immediate availability. If there is an immediate danger, leave the area and contact emergency services or your utility from a safe location.
